Welcome to Paper-Knife Theatre!

We’re a community theatre group doing art in Windsor, Ontario, Canada!

We got our start in 2015, when Brittni Brinn (nee Carey), Janine Marley, and Amilcar Nogueira met to plan our first production, No Exit. Although we knew each other from grad school, our shared interest in drama laid the foundation for Paper-Knife, a community collective that produces thought-provoking and affordable theatre in the Windsor-Essex area.

We decided to be a theatre group that would be full of variety and surprises: from original one acts to medieval morality plays to radio dramas, you can always expect something different from us.

Peter joined us as our media director soon after No Exit’s successful run. We are delighted with this website he’s designed, and hope you are too!

Here, you’ll find updates on our upcoming productions, casting calls, and other projects. You’ll be able to find ticket information and meet our cast and crew members through our current play page. You’ll be able to wander the archives of productions past, featuring show photos and promotional materials.

If you have any questions or are interested in being a part of Paper-Knife Theatre, feel free to email us at

Our theatre adventures are just beginning, and we’re excited to share them with you!
